Locust

Amidst the heat of the scorching summer of June 2019 in Taipei, Zhong-Han, a young mute, leads a seemingly directionless life. Working at a struggling street eatery by day and dabbling in the underground nightlife by night, he finds himself entangled in a web of events when the eatery changes ownership. As he navigates through the complexities of Taiwanese society, Zhong-Han learns valuable lessons about family, friendship, and power, discovering his own voice in a world fraught with injustice.
