The Plot Pictures was founded with the goal of producing a diverse slate of original content and intellectual property (IP). Our focus is on developing "homegrown" scripts by sourcing and pairing regional screenwriters, directors, actors, and production talent with global platforms to share their authentic stories with the world.
Our expert team of plotters are able to take advantage of the most favorable production incentives, funding plans, P&A, and distribution networks in the GCC, South East Asia, Europe, and North Africa through our affiliation with the Dejavu Media Network ensuring each story reaches its audience in the most creative and genuine ways.
Prats- Founder
With over 15+years of experience in film, commercial and longform content production, Pratixa ensures that those working alongside her are driven, enthusiastic and full of life, so that the passion they feel reflects in the work they do.
Having led the integrated production teams at Craft MENA and Dejavu Dubai, she has played a leading role in establishing high-performing creative production units that have received international accolades at festivals like Cannes, LIA, the New York Festival, D & AD, the One Show and many others. The year 2018, saw Pratixa produce the region’s first locally conceptualised Hollywood feature film, Beneath a Sea of Lights, starring Oscar nominee Barkhad Abdi, which has been seen a worldwide release on Showtime network USA.
She is also a member for the UAE production forum that works closely with the Film Commissions in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to bring international talent, facilities and best practices into the region’s production industry.
Carrying this passion forward the DNA for the Plot pictures rests on the double helix of artistic treatment blended with commercial acumen and that can pay rich dividends at the box office. Pratixa has taken her passion for innovation a notch higher, by setting up this exclusive entity to create original content for various digital platforms which can transcend geographical boundaries and reach larger audiences.
She reasons, “this job is not about where you’ve been - it’s about where you are now and where you aspire to be”.
Ozge -Acquisition & Distribution Lead
Ozge is an accomplished expert with over 18 years of experience in Acquisition and Distribution within the media and entertainment industry.
Her role at The Plot Pictures MENA, as the Acquisition & Distribution Lead is dedicated to delivering top-notch entertainment from world to the MENAT region and vice versa.Her hawk eyes scan the commercial viability of all the project that enter TPP to ensure that the project finds its audience across all media for the longest duration.
Ozge’s previous role as a Senior Content Acquisition Manager at Starzplay artfully combined strategic vision, negotiation finesse which contributed to her success in curating content for a global audience. Her responsibilities have included the management of TV and home video sales, as well as the facilitation of sales for Turkish films in the MENA markets. She adeptly acts as a bridge between the Middle East and the rest of the world, crafting content decisions that serve as a cultural bridge through the power of storytelling.
Leila -Executive Admin & Operations
Leila is a dedicated professional with a passion for the film industry and over 5 years of experience under her belt. With her keen eye for detail and organisational prowess, Leila is the go-to person at The Plot Pictures MENA when it comes to scheduling pitches, reaching any of our team members, managing project rights and keeping everything meticulously organised. Nothing misses her eyes especially when it comes to project scheduling, ensuring nothing goes unnoticed.
Driven by her love for the industry and an eagerness to learn and grow, Leila is excited to continue her journey In the world of film. Her dedication ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes is invaluable, making her an the binding force of the team at The Plot Pictures MENA.
