In a major international distribution coup for regional Indian cinema, the Malayalam-language action drama "Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies" has secured a global release in over 100 countries. The deal, forged between producer Reel World Entertainment and distributor The Plot Pictures, includes a planned theatrical release in key MENA markets, including the U.A.E.
The film, currently in production, is set against the backdrop of WWE-style entertainment and aims to combine high-octane action with dramatic storytelling. It is headlined by acclaimed actors Roshan Mathew (“Paradise”) and Arjun Ashokan (“Bramayugam”). In a significant move, the celebrated composer trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy will make their debut in Malayalam cinema with the film’s soundtrack.
